Talarpunkt på engelska*

As the demand for sustainable and recycled materials grows, it is crucial for organisations to align with EU legislation on sustainable material use and plastic recycling. In this process standards are the key to success! This presentation will highlight the importance of standardisation and explore the upcoming European standards which aims to increase the uptake of recycled plastics by up to 10 million tons in new products.
In august this year 56 new standards will be published on a variety of topics: quality grades for sorted plastic waste, characterization of recyclates, and design-for-recycling guidelines for a wide range of products used in different applications, such as packaging, construction, electronic and electrical equipment, road vehicles, and agriculture. Join us to learn how Sweden and SIS are leading the development of these standards, ensuring that Sweden’s interests are well-represented.
