What You’ll Do
✔ Develop and manage strong relationships with customers and suppliers
✔ Identify new business opportunities and expand our stock trade
✔ Take initiative in actively developing and optimizing our product portfolio
✔ Manage key accounts and maintain an industry-relevant contact database
✔ Negotiate pricing and offers with customers
✔ Oversee budgeting and performance tracking
✔ Represent Algol Chemicals at supplier meetings and trade fairs
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
– 5+ years of experience in the plastics industry (manufacturing or distribution)
– A degree in polymer engineering or equivalent industry experience
– Sales experience preferred, but if you have a technical background and a strong desire to transition into sales, we want to hear from you!
Skills & Competencies
– A sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer relationships
– Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, polymers, and practical chemistry
– Fluent in Swedish (written & spoken), with good English skills (other Scandinavian languages are a plus)
– A valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel regularly
