PLASTIC ADDITIVES SALES MANAGER SCANDINAVIA

As Plastic Additives Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales across Scandinavia. Your mission? To develop relationships with both new and existing customers, selling high-quality raw materials to plastic and rubber compounders. You will also manage key supplier relationships and contribute to portfolio development. This role offers significant flexibility—you can be based in our Malmö office or work remotely, depending on your location. Travel is a natural part of the job, with approximately 100 client visits per year (maximum 50 nights), primarily in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, with some trips across Europe.

What You’ll Do
✔ Develop and manage strong relationships with customers and suppliers
✔ Identify new business opportunities and expand our stock trade
✔ Take initiative in actively developing and optimizing our product portfolio
✔ Manage key accounts and maintain an industry-relevant contact database
✔ Negotiate pricing and offers with customers
✔ Oversee budgeting and performance tracking
✔ Represent Algol Chemicals at supplier meetings and trade fairs

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background
– 5+ years of experience in the plastics industry (manufacturing or distribution)
– A degree in polymer engineering or equivalent industry experience
– Sales experience preferred, but if you have a technical background and a strong desire to transition into sales, we want to hear from you!

Skills & Competencies
– A sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer relationships
– Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, polymers, and practical chemistry
– Fluent in Swedish (written & spoken), with good English skills (other Scandinavian languages are a plus)
– A valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel regularly
